Was just being annoyed/caring/stupid/rash just now.

Day 24 - The person who gave you your favourite memory
This sentence made me smile. Don't know why.
Wasn't remembering anything at all.
I can't purposely think of a memory.
It has to pop into my head suddenly.
But the first thing I thought of was Beijing trip and dorming with Bianca.
Waking up exactly 7 seconds before the annoying "Evacuate the Dance Floor" started playing.
Because Bianca insisted that was to be the official alarm.
Then reluctantly getting off the bed while groaning,
Shuffling to the phone and switching the alarm off.
Then shifted to Bianca's bed and woke her up.
Shaking her twice; the second time would always be accompanied with an "I'm awake."
Coming out of the bathroom, and finding her with her clothes half put on,
Thermal stockings pulled halfway up to her knees, and falling asleep.
"Quickly go to the toilet," I would always say, to make sure she wakes up properly.
Then changing while she's in the toilet; always takes forever.
Then packing and going out to breakfast. :)
Writing about this reminded me of another time in the Beijing dorm.
I was telling a ghost story to a already frightened Bianca,
Then after lights out, she spoke through the darkness to me,
"Val, can I sleep with you? I'm very scared here." I automatically shifted to the side.
Then she crawled over, and I suggested listening to music together.
When she fell asleep, I took off the earpiece from her ear and went under the blanket too.
Waking up was harder, because I was sore and half out of the bed from her midnight kungfu.
It was a good night, though.
I slept sounder that night, I think, because Bianca was closer to me and I felt warmer.
Somehow. Don't ask me why, because I know about as much as you do.
