When I have kids in the future, they're all going to have Welsh names.

Definitely.

I don't even care who my spouse is gonna be. Haha.

I have a friend called Sian (pronounced: Shaan), and her name is the Welsh version of the English name Jane.

Actually I'm not even sure Jane's an English name. Maybe French? No idea.

Don't you think it's a beautiful name, though?

And Torchwood character Ianto - his name's Welsh, too. The Welsh version of 'John'. Pronounced Yahn-toh, if you didn't already guess.

I found a few amazing female Welsh names that I don't mind my daughter having:

- Rhian (meaning 'maiden', though there are a lot of Welsh names that mean that)

- Nia (meaning 'beauty' or 'brightness')

- Aderyn (meaning 'bird')

- Cadi (meaning 'pure')

- Carys (meaning 'love') (my favourite of all these names)

- Delwyn (meaning 'pretty and fair')

- Eira (meaning 'snow')

- Eleri (meaning 'overflowing')

- Gwen (meaning 'fair') (if you didn't realise, this is the name of the main character of Torchwood, too)

The meaning of the name is not actually important to me at all, I only go by the sound of the name. I mean, if the name sounds nice but it has a horrible meaning, I won't consider it at all, of course.

For example Aerona is a nice name, but it means 'carnage'. Who'd want to name their daughter that?

------------

My own name means to 'be healthy' and 'strong' :)

------------

Yes I definitely will do that rant on Taylor Swift. But maybe later in November when I have more time on my hands.

I'm bursting with things I want to say about her. I do like her songs, but there're ust a few small hitches that make her not so innocent as she seems after all. Not that she isn't, but I think she's sort of... sly?
