First and foremost, always be truthful.

I can tell you that now, from firsthand experience.

Even if telling the truth makes you cringe in embarrassment. Just tell it.

Always tell the truth, because if you lie you'll just constantly build up a web of lies that you can't keep up with after a while.

It's better to be forthright an honest, than live in deceit.

And you'll also feel much better about yourself.
